Common american foods to bring to Germany?

I am going to Germany to visit a friend and she would like us to bring any American candy or food that isn't sold in Germany. What would be any good suggestions from those who are very familiar with foods available in Germany?

Peace!

My friends liked Hershey bars, though its not as good as their Milcha it is still decent.

They also loved my Combo's pizza flavor cheese combos.

American Cigarettes are also not as strong as their counterparts.

Pancakes & maple syrup. I live in VT where Syrup is popular as is Cheese, so I brought both with me and they loved that too.

Maybe just ask them?

Ranch dressing, oh how I missed that one while in Europe. Bagels.
Cheddar cheese, if you can find a way to keep it from going bad during the flight over there.
Hot sauce.

I'm with the other lady on boxes of Mac & Cheese. While you can get them here in very well sorted supermarkets, they are very expensive (2.50€!!! per box!). Peanut butter as well as Maple sirup, though, you can get in every store, even discount ones such as Penny.
What I have never seen here are chocolate covered prezels (I thought it was a pretty disgusting thing when I saw them in an American store, until I tried them), and Hersheys' Kisses, as well as Hersheys' Hugs. Oh, we do have M&Ms', but only the peanut and the plain version. Nope, that's not right, we have also got the crisp version since a couple of years. We do not have the Almond or any other version here, though. My Dad loves the almond version. I always have to bring some for him whenever I am in the States.
What else, what else... I have been trying to restep through the Krogers in my mind, but I can't remember anything... I guess I will just realize what I have missed once I will get back to the States... hm...

Nutter-Butters! I love those! And can't get them here.
Jerky! While they do have it, German stores don't even come close to the variety of tastes that American stores offer, and it is much more expensive here.
If I could wish for anything, I'd go for the big old freezer full of Ben & Jerry's in every possible flavor, but I guess that would be a little difficult to transport! ;)) My loss. We only get a couple of flavors here, and at a horribly high price. Oh, and Mountain Dew! Hmmmmm....

Maybe a box of batter-mix for Brownies from a real good brand? Or something like that? Cinnamon roles, maybe?

Oh, and a Stevia Sweetener! I love that! No calories, great taste... and it's forbidden here. (Don't ask me why!)

Something that is not sold here are Graham crackers. So if you want to bring a real American taste to Germany, get a box of those. Marshmallows and chocolate we have here, but not the crackers. You will need to find an open fire to roast the Marshmallows over, though. ;))

That is all I can think of right now. I do hope I did give you some ideas.

Have fun in Germany!

They love American candy, peanut butter and this might sound a little strange but my German chiropractor asked me several times to buy him kitty litter as the German kind was pretty bad. That isn't a food just an interesting story.

I agree-I miss Kraft macaroni and cheese, Twix bars-they sell them here, but they don´t taste as good as in the US, Smarties, and Red Vine red licorice.

I´ve bought peanut butter here before, and it tastes the same as in the US.

Frackled is right. Do NOT bring Maple Syrup or Peanut Butter; do NOT bring Marshmallows either.

please, read the many suggestions made by people in the following two threads:

Boxes of macaroni & cheese, also peanut butter. My daughters exchange students never had these two very American foods.
