i LOVE germany. in particular, the bavarian alps. it is absolutely beautiful. I would go to Heidelberg, Munich and especially visit the Neuschwanstein Castle. i think it is in Fussen. it was built by king ludwig 2? and was the inspiration for the castle in the magic kingdom. Most people speak english fairly well and are the people are quite friendly. most bigger cities are like anyother city. i would go to smaller towns and visit castles and cathedrals. very beautiful. Berlin has a lot of history if youre interested in that, |

Do I like Germany?
The people are very welcoming and appreciate the fact that I try to speak the language (albeit badly). The food is excellent and the sense of humour superb.
I have worked alongside German colleagues in the aircraft industry and it's always a pleasure to work with them.
I have met many people and have very good friends in Hamburg.
What I love most about Germany is my girlfriend and soon to be wife. She is German and absolutely beautiful.
In summary. Do I like Germany?
I would have to answer Yes. |

I've only been to Bavaria which was beautiful.
Had a lovely holiday and discovered a fantastic monastery called Andex (sp?) which brewed it's own beer - 1 and a half litres of that and I was convinced I could fly! |

Oh, yes, wonderful place. Great food, wine, beer, coo koo clocks and mountains.
Too bad they went with the Euro and not kept the Mark. |

I think it is a lovely country when I visited. The German's were very friendly - more so dare I say it than the French when we visited Paris. |

Love love love Germany. I lived outside of Munchen in Erding for two years and it was the best two years ever. It was like two years of the best college anywhere and I didn't realized how much the place and people were teaching me until I left. I think my heart is still there.
Ich liebe Deutschland! |

it clean, efficient and runs like clockwork. Prefer the chaos of Rome though. |

And their fashion is awful. (From what I've seen.)
