Don't listen to the second answerer...Americans and Canadians are very well liked. You will be treated with respect and I am sure people will be inquisitive about you & your country Canada.

I am a Canadian citizen currently studying at the University in Berlin. So far I have been treated very well everywhere that I have been. I think the key to being treated well as a Canadian or any other nationality is to show the other person respect and respect their customs and ways and not to say "well in Canada everything is better"
I have only had positive experiences and hope you enjoy your holidays in Germany. |

Germans are generally supposed to be friendly, and a Canadian will probably be treated like an American, against which they have no prejudices. |

thats so wrong, im german and i lived on severa cities around germany and yeah they all hate americans, well obviously not all, but a lot.... so as long as u r not american and make very clear u are from canada, u wont have any problem.
the funny thing is that they all hate americans but they all want to come to the us!!! |
