Frankfurt for sure. Hamburg is way out of the way and is not the international hub that Frankfurt is by any stretch of the imagination.
Munchen is an international airport, but does not offer the lowest fares like Frankfurt. You'll get much better deals from there, for the most part. Now there are some budget airlines, like RyanAir, that fly into quirky places. For example, when I lived in Florence there were more options from Pisa (traveling within Europe) than from Florence! But when I flew beyone Europe I would always end up connecting through Milan, Frankfurt, or Paris (depending on the airline). And the most expensive part of the fare, proportionally, was from Florence to the hub. Airlines can be weird.
It's hard advise you of your best option because you did not include your destination and each airline has different hubs. But assuming you will have to go through a hub, I would take the Eurostar from Munchberg to Frankfurt HB and then to the airport. There is no reason to drive anywhere because then you have to deal with a vehicle. |

its almost the same distance from Frankfurt to Munchberg or Munich to Munsberg but the international airport of Munich is at the A9 the highway (Autobahn) that leads you direct to Munchberg (north of Munich), Frankfurt is west of Munchberg and complicated highway tracks to follow.
maybe you can get a flight to Nürnberg thats the closest airport, I don't know, sometime you get some cheap flights to smaller airports like Leipzig or Nürnberg.
Dallas-London-Nürnberg or NYC-Paris-Leipzig .......
check it out, Nürnberg or Leipzig are very close to Munchberg.
Hamburg and Berlin are to far out. |
