When we needed papers translated from English to German, we went to our towns Rathaus, and they had a list of translators. Maybe Berlin would have a list as well.

Also, post this on www.craigslist.com asking for a translator.

I know one in Schwäbisch Gmünd who charges €1,60 per line which is about as cheap as it gets.

I believe you can go to almost any language school, but most will be expensive. Try Die Neue Schule. I used to teach English for them and their prices are much better than a lot of other places. Otherwise, just look in Die Zitty or Der Tip in the ads in the back. I'm sure there are tons of freelancers doing it too.
