When you buy everything from the Supermarket and don't eat out you'll need around 10 EUR per day. If you eat out in cheap snackstalls or so you'll need around 35 EUR per day. Dinner at a restaurant will cost around 20 EUR.

EDIT: Agree with Sammi. Definitely try some asparagus with potatoes and Sauce Hollandaise. (Note that Sauce Hollandaise contains milk). You'll also want to try some "Green Sauce", which is a local speciality. Have it served to you with potatoes or potato dumplings. If you splurge on restaurant food that is what you should try.

Frankfurt itself is expensive, it might make sense to check out nearby towns like Mainz, Darmstadt, Aschaffenburg and Wiesbaden.

Here you can see a list of Vegetarian Restaurants in Frankfurt! You can check the prices. But it's also possible to buy salads and other vegetarien food in supermarkets.

but most 'normal' restaurants offer vegetarian dishes too as also in Germany live many vegetarians!

there are also many chinese and turkish take-aways where you can get vegetable food as well!

embrace the culture in summer there are many farmer's markets. One thing Europeans do well is fresh food with vegtables, bread and there cheese is better and cheaper. I say around 15 Euros ($22.50) will be sufficient for food. Spend a little extra to enjoy everything they have to offer. Plus the beer is amazing

You shop at the outdoor markets they are cheaper and the food is better, fresher. I have hosted 2 German exchange student s and neither of them ate much meat, so you should be able to find lots of meatless meal choices. While you're ther you'll have to try whit asparagus it's a German special you can only get it during the summer. I think you have enough answer, from the first answer, but there is a place i like it in Frankfurt has a vegetarian food in Eschenheimer land Str. I do not remember the number but it is "in front Metropolis kino" theater . It is takeaway and cheap.and there are a lot of vege food where you will find Turkish fast food shop, they have pizza vege, vege sandwich .....
