Kulmbach.
Beer capital of the world.

Erlangen
Mostly because of the women. I met my wife their. Because of the Medical University it has plenty of women, and lots of little pubs all over the place.

Garmisch. Love the alps, skiing in the winter and hiking, cannoning, mountain bike riding, ATV, sailing during the summer.

For me it is DUESSELDORF because it has everything...
great companies to work for,
great location (plus an international airport!) ,
great entertainment (theatres,shows,Alstadt,you name it...)
great shopping (D'dorf is also the fashion capital of Germany),
great restaurants (also very international),
...and the weather is pretty mild (meaning we rarely have snow in the winter)

I am sure I forgot to list something, but as you can tell I love Duesseldorf.

Oh, btw...the people are so very friendly also. Plus D'dorf has the 5th season (=Karneval)

Hamburg is a wonderful city. Yes, there is lots of litter and graffiti, but it the beauty of the buildings and the feel of the place is just amazing.
The people are nice, you always hear music when you walk downtown, because there is a freelance musician on every corner. Great restaurants, huge shopping malls, and St Pauli (of course!) stand against the beautiful river Elbe, relaxing parks, theaters, and music halls.
You get whatever you are looking for in this city.

Here are some pictures to give you an impression:
