I am in Germany - this is correct:

würdest du gerne am Donnerstag (mit mir) tanzen /zum Tanzen gehenn?

if you know the person /informal:

Magst du am Donnerstag mit mir tanzen /zum Tanzen gehen....

or

Ich würde gerne am Donnerstag mit dir tanzen gehen, hast du Lust?

If it`s a question to a person you don`t know so good you say:

There are two different ways to say it:

If you now the person you can say: Möchtest/Willst du am Donnerstag (mit mir - with me) tanzen gehen?

If you know the person not good you would say: Möchten/Wollen Sie am Donnerstag (mit mir - with me) tanzen gehen?

You would usually add "with me" to the question.
