Germany celebrates White Sunday the week after Easter. So this would be March 30, 2008.
As for a site listing all German holidays: go to http://www.cometogermany.com/ENU/infocenter/school_breaks_holidays_6788.htm
This site appears to be run by some German tourism organization, but they really list all school breaks and holidays, religious and otherwise.
Comment on RainerReza: "Whitsunday" in German would be "Weisser Sonntag". "Pfingstsonntag" would be Ascension Day (or Pentacostal Day, depending on your denomonation). |

I think White Sunday is also called Whitsunday, or, in German, Pfingstsonntag. According to this page:
http://www.feiertage.net/uebersicht.php?year=2008
Pfingstsonntag is on May 11, 2008. I think that page presents a more accessible overview than what's been recommended so far. Also note that German calendar format is day-month-year (dd/mm/yy).
For future reference, if you have a Google Account, you can open a Google Calendar, go to settings, and search for public calendars using the words "German holidays" (in quotes). Then you can import all the German holidays so they show up on your calendar. |
