Fenris Lord of Trolls
Both are different certificates for German language

Both are recognised but Goethe certificate is better known in Germany so I think they have a bit more prestige.

Rick the Alwin fan
I totally agree with Fenris here. But may I ad that if you wanna get a permanent residence you need more than this diplomas

Österreichische Sprachdiplom Deutsch means Austrian German Language Diploma. Its a diploma for the Austrian dialect of Germany. OSD is an all around better program for learning another language, in this case the Austrian-German language.

Although if you are going to do Österreichische Sprachdiplom Deutsch than that means you would be understood in Austria and not Germany. Its like American english and British english, some words cannot be understood by eachother.

If you plan on working and living in GERMANY than do Goethe-Zertifikat. Both are fantastic programs.

Best of luck!
