You dirty Nazi, you weasel (as in: cheat) yourself into the finals and then you get all bitchy/grumpy. Turkey really gave you guys a hard time with their C-team, you blondies, you chives (note: I didn't know chives were considered typically German until now...), hahaha....Learn to play well before you act all fierce and like a soccer nation.

"chives", just to explain that, is usually used (also by Germans) for the German police and army, because of their green uniforms:
"AuÃŸen grÃ¼n, innen hohl, und tritt in BÃ¼ndeln auf"
("green outside, hollow inside [they mean their brains], and appears in bunches")

But our national team didn't play in green, so I don't know what the writer meant with this "chives" thing.

Well, it's all over now, baby blue, and the Spanish won. They were playing in red, like the Turkish.

(And, btw, there were no German-Turkish riots here.)

And as to the inside hollowness of the writer, I wouldn't like to comment on that.
