so my friend is going to Germany in 3 days, and i asked him to get me something from there, i'm only giving him like $50-$70 or so, but idk what i want. it has to be something that would remind me of Germany, and something from Germany of course! a flag is okay, but i want something cute or really interesting. i like silver stuff too. idk what all is sold there that would be like less than 60 euros. if you're from Germany, or have been there, would u please suggest some cool souvenirs that i could get? bitte? danke ^.^

Germany is worldwide known to have a nice selection of condoms. You can have them in a lot of variants and if you blow them up you can see dragons, some are looking like streptoko bacterias. Really fun. I would rather go for them than for normal balloons. Since the normal balloons don't have a taste when you put your tongue on it while this what i am talking about is available in vanilla, strawberry and banana. I didn't tried out raspberry and apple yet. but I should

I must actually agree with wheely, the condom stuff made me laugh. But actually, Amsterdam in the Netherlands is more famous for it. But there are sex shops in Germany in every major city, and entry is allowed at 18. So your friend can probably bring you some Latex pants for less than 35 euros, and can even afford a Tokio Hotel cd at the next record store.

$60 and 60 euros is a big difference $60 is really more around 35 euros.

Get a book or something in German, A Map, Flag, etc.

What part or what city is he visiting? If in Berlin, ask him to get you a Berliner bear. They sell all sorts of tourist trinkets. If you like silver, ask him to get you a tin or nickel 5l beer mug;)

You could, maybe, get a couple of techno music CD's and some beer steins. I'm just guessing. It's been 25 years since I've been there.

A lot of the stuff in Germany is the same as American (I'm an American living in Germany..). Whenever I send stuff from here it's usually chocolate....I know it's not silver but it's so good from here. As far as a gift, under 35 Euros, best bet's a beer mug or glass this time of year....there are cute novelty gifts just like everywhere else but the beer stein is a classic iconic gift from around here! Have a schoenes tage:~)
