Germans : why you guys classify water boarding as torture?
Because we have better methods. Visit any German medieval town, and there'll be a torture museum, mostly in the cellar of the Rathaus (the house where the city mayor resides). We have to offer:
Daumenschrauben
Fußschellen
Streckbank
"das Pferd"
and last not least, die Eiserne Jungfrau.
Most of these tools are in extremely good condition, even after 600 years, and ready for use.
