southern germany is the pretty similar to northeast us (deciduous forest biome)
as you get to the northern most parts of germany its similar to canadian weather (boreal forest biome)
that is pretty much it....its and inland country for the most part.

I would say overall it is a temperate climate. In most regions it has cold winters with snow, especially in the highlands near the Alps. There is normally a strong wind from the north that cools down the nation, but lately Germany and most of Europe has gotten a lot warmer due to humid wind currents. During the summer it is normally very nice, beautiful hills, flowers, wheat fields, etc. 1/3 of Germany is natural forests, and Germany has many natural river systems and lakes. I would say that the weather changes very stereotypically to the seasons. It is truly a beautiful country. |
