Only en German, but you can afford it (I don't have any idea about German but I managed pretty well)
The BIG advantages are:
1.- You can see both as a map (draft) or as a satellite image (like google)
2.- You can write an address and it will show you were it is.
I'll go to Berlin next month, and thanks to stadtplandienst I have a clear overview about were to go and the distance that I have to walk.

go to goggle and do an image search, u can get all types of image results. i know that Barnes and Noble has really good maps of germany. hope u got one of those by where u live.

I like to use mapquest.com. It also includes driving directions if you are going to do some site-seeing on your own. If you belong to AAA or CAA, you can get maps there. I liked Germany but only spent 1 day there. We went on a guided tour of Europe a number of years ago. Have a wonderful time.
