Getting to Neuschwanstein Castle from Frankfurt?

The first two answerers were correct. From the Frankfurt Flughaven (airport), you'd want to go to on a train to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), which is literally just minutes away. Once there, if you physically go to the DB office and talk to the person behind the desk selling/booking train tickets, they almost always speak good English and should be able to help. There is no train that I know of that goes to Burg Neuschwanstein from Munich (and Munich is where you'd want to head to), but there are plenty of tour buses that go there, or you can rent a car. Any good guidebook about Germany or Bavaria should give you directions and even tour groups/companies and phone numbers, because that castle is one of Germany's undisputed top tourist destinations, despite its remoteness. Odds are, if nothing else, the tourist office in downtown Munich or even the DB office at Munich's Hauptbahnhof should be able to help guide you in that last stretch to the castle itself. :)

Train from Frankfurt Main to Muncih. Neuschwanstein is in that area. I am not certain you can take a train right to the castle, but I know you can catch a tour group to it from there, I've done it. The side benefit is you get to visit Munich, it is a lovely city.

If you don't intend to stay in Frankfurt but going directly to Munich, at Frankfurt Airport there's also a train station. Very often you don't need a reservation so you can go to the Deutsche Bahn counter, buy a ticket, and jump on the next train to Munich.

train to munich, transfer to a train to fuessen, which is right on the border with austria. then there are buses up the hill to the castle neuschwanstein and the other ludwig castle in the area.

As you walk up the path to the castle, take the detour to the right that goes to a bridge over a ravine. From the middle of the bridge, you can get the best straight-on photos of the castle. If you just follow the path to the castle, you'll miss that shot.
