Their are a few hotels there

Their is the Hotel Russia, of course they have an expensive Hilton and a few others but honestly I suggest that you RENT a small room with a shower and kitchen and their is one directly next to the Russia Hotel across from Ghoeteplatz bus central and the beverage redemption center and the owner rents out all the units their on temporary basis for like $25-30 Euro a night!! Far better than a Hotel.

No you get no service but you have privacy, a good bed, a shower and a kitchen and you are in the CENTER of Weimar next to the main buses and can go anywhere from there,

I stayed their once, I usually stay with my friends so I stay for free.

Oh I live in WEIMAR!!

Born and bred!

Wulf for an American gave you amazing instructions, it must have lived here or something. Ghoeteplatz IS the main Bus central and you can get to most of the main stadt from there.

I too suggest a room over a hotel though we have four of them, the Hilton, Hotel Russia and two others I also cannot recall but neither are that great as the other two are.

Renting rooms and hostels are common here for we are a tourist city and they did a lot of rebuilding here for 1999 so for an Eastern City it is very up to date and beautiful overall.

I love that park he mentioned and I go to that Club as well, the Post office is directly across the street!! It is an old Castle tower remains converted into a 5 level multi room club. Its much fun.
