Stuttgart rocks, although you missed the Xmas markets, which are money.
Go see the Wilhelmina. And go to the main square, I think it's the Schlossplatz. Amazing view of like 10 centuries of European architectural styles.
I'm maybe a slightly bigger fan of Heidelberg, but we loved Stuttgart when we visited in December.
