i have been there and my father lives there. i was in mostly small towns and everyone was fantasticly freindly or they just let you be. also, nazism is sort of shut down when it is discovered b/c of the countires less than positive past. but as a democracy they can only control so much.
i think it should all go fine. i havent been to Munich left but im sure that it is heavily monitered and under security as is most of Europe (or anywhere really). |

they exist in germany as well as in other countries.
People who dislike foreigners are everywhere.
But i can understand your worries, because the bad news are always the fastest to be spread.
But i think you should not worry to much about that.
Munich is a great city and i am sure that you are as save there as everywhere else.
I hope you´ll enjoy your stay. I love the city! |

I live in Germany and yes, they do have Neonazis here. They even have their own political party called the NPD. Because Germany is a democracy, they cannot be forbidden to have their own party, which isn't to say that people like them. They are very unpopular. Munich should be just fine. You'll find the most skinheads in the eastern part of Germany, and Munich is in southern Germany, in Bavaria. |
