Frankfurt is a very nice place to go to. I was born and raised close to Frankfurt. I loved the downtown, museums, shops, trains, streetcars, people and especially the fleamarket on Saturdays. Food galore....anything from turkish (the best), to italian to you name it it has it. A melting pot for sure. Great night life too. |

Been there. It wasn't for me. Too urban. However, the surrounding areas you can access with a base of Frankfurt are cool - places like Koblenz, the Rhine River, Mainz, etc. |

Frankfurt, to me, seemed a lot like an American city. There was a lot of graffiti everywhere, and the airport is not what I would call clean. But other than that, it's a beautiful city. |

Yes, we flew out of Europe in Frankfurt after visiting Zurich, Paris, and Rome. Not the best place I've been. I actually think Australia is the best place I've been. I'm not a big Europe fan. |
