No, I haven't been there :( But, I really would love to go.. My grandfather was from Baden and spoke of the Black Forest and so many other places with such adoration that I would really love to go see what he tried to hard to describe to me.

Germany was one of our stops on our recent tour of Europe - Cologne, Rhine River, Black Forest - I enjoyed it.

Hello there! I've been to Germany twice in my life. My relatives live in Koblenz. I love it there the most. Beautiful scenery and lots of old castles and fortresses. My friends live in Northern Germany, by Schleswig-Holstein. The North Sea and Wacken were my favourite spots up there. How about you?

hey snizz
Yes.
I learned German in high school (I'd rather have learned spanish but hey ho, can't argue with the curriculum eh?)

We went on the German Exchange trip - I went to Villingen (sp?) which is in the Black Forest and around to some other places on day trips.

I thought it was pretty good - long time ago now though, I think I was maybe 12 or 13 then?
