Yes that one my grandma made was the best I ever ate, but lower saxony is large and even in the Weser mountains Mettwurst is different. But Grandmas bread, with Grandmas goat butter, with Grandmas Mettwurst and Grandmas pickled cucumbers were a heaven.

just want to add, Niedersachsen is NOT Saxony. Niedersachsen is Lower Saxony, Sachsen is Saxony, 2 different german states. |

Well, actually Germany offers ham salami in all places, not just in or coming from Lower Saxony. ;)
