Germans only smile when they are naked (superior smile) .
Every other situation is to serious for them.

Germans DO well smile, but you have to get to know them better. When you meet them in pubs, they may be dressed in jeans and sweaters, but they have some businness attitude in mind, and remember, you're a foreigner. You will be treated with respect, but distance. Once you get to know us Germans better, I'm sure we can share a laugh. And, YES, we can really laugh, not only smile. But we're taking everything serious, even things like laughing or smiling, and we do nothing without a reason. |

Just because Germans don't have the fake white USA smile does not mean that they do not smile. The difference between Germans and other nations is that they are sincere and don't spend the whole day smiling when they hate a person. |

Belive me, Germans are proably the most hospitable people you'll ever meet. they do sometimes keep to themselves, but not always. just message when you have ANY more questions, as i will know them mostlikely

-if you insist, I'll answer: Germans dont smile because they are the most uptight and serious people on earth, they have no sense of humor at all, its impossible to be friendly with German tourists I see here, and the German women travelling I see in nightclubs, oy vey! I have to buy them like 8 drinks before I can take them back home! |
