I've been two time on vacation. Once in Hurgada and once on a Nile cruise with a visit of the pyramides and valley of the kings.

The country is nothing I care about but the ancient buiuldings, pyramides and all of that. And the egypt museum in Cairo, wonderful.
Hurgada was a downer. Boring, to many people around that think we are rich and need to feed them (but we need to work hard for the money) they just hold their hand up.
I did not like the attitude of many people in that beach resort.
I'm speaking for myself and my family not for the entire german population. Most of the germans havn't been there anyway.

The general impression we got was: in the big city's they are like anywhere else, in the villages they are very friendly.
In tourist resorts they tend to rip you off.

Hello I traveled your country several times.
I loved the pyramids, and the museeum in Cairo.
As I traveled with a friend of mine who is native to the country I did not have any bad experience as Bernd I guess it is because I was acompanied by an Egyptian.
I was amazed of the hospitalyity of the people (the family of my friend) it was a great experience. The hospitality of these people for any European is absolutely amazing.

I would like to spend my holidays there. But I have never been in Egypt.

About the people: I know two Egyptians, both per im, they are really nice but both suffer of broken heart (the girl of their dreams had to marry sb else) one of them even decided to go to the army now because he feels so upset... maybe you have there some real problems in the relations between men and women. Or you should work on women rights.

I don't know a lot of Egyptians, just two people. One boy and the wife of a colleague of mine. Both are exceptionally nice and friendly people.

Well, I've studied many things about Egypt, but I've ever been there. I learned than 91% of them are Sunni Muslim. But, what does this have to do with Germany?

I was in Egypt very interesting place. People are friendly but very pure. The country is very dirty. I traveled the whole Egypt but this is long time ago. Now I'm not interested traveling there no more, is not safe place.
