Bring a few bottles of your favourite chilli sauce!
Winter clothes a must, but buy them there if you can afford it. Probably easier than shifting clothes over?

If you cannot speak fluent German, make sure that you have a handy small book for the common translations. Get used to the currency too. Equip your handphone with some currency converter.

Also, bring some universal power adapters, and batteries for your electronics.

Undergarment! They probably don't stock up on undergarment for smaller sized Asians, generally Asians have smaller built. You would be hard-pressed to find undergarments that fit over there. So bring a good number of sets over.

Bring a pair of chopsticks and some extra pairs for everyone there too! Haha. Have fun and have a safe time there. All the best.

Germany's weather is about to change to very cold, so of course winter clothing is an absolute. , depending on where you are going in Germany. Bavaria and a lot of the southern states see plenty of snow. The foods there are deliciouse, my favotite fast food so to speak are Doner, with the umlaut over the "o", its actually a turkish dish, consisting of shaved lamb, lettuce tomatoes onions cheese, in a pita type of bread, smothered in yogurt sauce. The foods are basically a lot of pork, schnitzle, and bratwurst are among the food staples, and of course beer. You will notice that breakfasts are mainly cold cut meats and bread. Oh and beer, is always plentiful. Octoberfest is coming up, you should never miss that, its held in Munich (Muenchen) and is alot of fun food and song and .....beer. I lived in Frankfurt for 3 years, and each section of Germany has its own customs, fests, and foods. I do not know where you are going, but if you know the language it will help tremendously.

Bring instant food from your country as it will take some time for you to look for a store where you can buy the ingredients you need to cook your native dish in Germany. Do not bring banned items on the airplane. If you are from a tropical country, you will need appropriate clothes for the seasons of summer, spring, autumn, and winter. If I am not mistaken, you will be arriving in Germany during autumn.

The Boot
Forget a decent breakfast unless you go to a big hotel with a buffet that has real food!
