I am not sure what M's is either, but she is correct, just about any city in Germany has a school to teach english.

if you need to learn the whole language in two months that will be really difficult to impossible. You can learn, yes but in two months not enough to be fluent or even near it.

So until I know what M's is than maybe I can be more help.

Don't forget Goethe's home town of Weimar Germany in Thuringia. They have a school there also. Just adding my two cents.

You probably already know the site, but http://www.daad.de also has a list of language institutes. Plus the uni where you'll be doing masters will likely have a special course preparing you. Ask at the uni.

If you want to learn at home and have no previous knowledge, Rosetta Stone is a good program. It teaches you the basics.

Hi,
Most of the Universities have a some subjects in English but if you want to learn German you would need some time (at least 6 months).
A very good language school is "Goothe Institut", you'll find it in Hamburg, Berlin, Hanover.

Good luck!

You can grab some German language CD's in the meantime. I got one before moving to Germany this year and it helps you learn the basics. I still don't know German, but I recognize some that is said and know how to ask for certain things at least. Then when you get here you can take classes. Hope this helps.

I know some international Language School the name is "Berlitz". I was teaching in Houston German there.
I know the students was sitting from 8 am to 4 pm 2 weeks long and they was good after that. So you need to visit some school like that. Look in your town also Goethe Institute have some offices in US too they are having German classes also.
Good Luck....
