How can I find the cheapest airfare from Germany to the United States, as the prices in Germany are cheaper?
The airfares from the travel agents in Germany seem cheaper than I can find here in the US!
I noticed too that flights booked through german web-sites/agencies are cheaper.
Try http://www.mcflight.de/ and the click on "flights (engl.)" on the left side.
I haven't used them yet, but they seem to have good deals.

try http://airfare.bootsnall.com/ for cheap airfares. fare results do not include taxes but are relatively cheap.

Use sidestep.com. It compares the fares on Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc. It does not include hotwire, so check that out separately. Otherwise, try Lufthansa site...see if they have any deals. Have fun!
