Temperatures in Germany are a problem, lets say anywhere between +20° C in the day and -10°C in the night might be possible. Today we have sunny 16°C, but in the mids of November we normally we will have foggy 9°C . But I am living in Hamburg. Here we have normally no extreme coldness, but 1 week in February there we could have so about -20°C at night.
That is in Bavaria totally other, They can have severe frost from the beginning to the end of the winter.
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany

In late October / early November (Halloween), it can be as warm as 15°C plus, or as cold as -5°C, depending on the region and current weather: In the Rhineland it will sure be warmer than in the Bavarian Alpes. Now you might ask, what's that in Fahrenheit? Well, 0°C ("degree centigrade") are 32F, that's the freezing point of water. So as a general rule, don't expect it to be warm, and the higher you get into the mountains, be even prepared for some snow.
We have a holiday here on 1st of November that's called "Allerheiligen", "All Saints' Day", and as by tradition, you go to church and stand in the graveyard before the grave of your ancestors, while the priest is walking through and saying his prayers. I always thought it was a "cool" tradition until I found out that it can be a cold tradition, too: I almost froze my feet off one year while waiting for the priest to come by my family's grave, so I could disappear into my car. |

My husband and I have lived in Germany for almost two years now. It is October right now and the weather is mild; it is an average of 60 degrees. The air is brisk and all that is required is a long-sleeved shirt or light jacket. In my opinion, this is the best time of year in Germany! |

Between 0-15 degrees C, which is roughly 32 to 60 degrees F. Be prepared for strong winds, rain and wet and cold weather.
If you want to travel abroad at this time of the year and want warm weather and sunshine, go to Egypt. |

It's getting cold. Some areas get already snow too, specially at the alps and the towns near there.
You need good shoes and good warm coat. Right now we call golden October in Germany during the day is sunny and pretty colors everywhere and night time is cold. But it's change soon and will be dark the whole day and we don't see the sun not often. |

Very cold believe me, i lived there for many years, it might be gray in gray and rainy or you might have nice fall days as well. But you for sure want to take warm close (no shorts needed) (: |
