How do I get from Cologne-Bonn airport to Duisburg?

Hello, I'm going to Duisburg in a couple of weeks, and the best flights I can find (from Sweden) goes to CGN. I've never been to the airport or the city, and don't know how to get to Duisburg Hauptbahnhof. As long as I get there (Hbf) I know how to find my way.

Any help is appreciated.

There are several possibilities, depending on your time of arrival. The easiest one is taking the S13 train direction "Köln Hansaring" to Köln Hbf, and then the ICE to Duisburg. Price is 22.50 euros.

But I think you should check out the trains yourself with the correct date and time of arrival:

Just enter "CGN" in the "from" field and "Duisburg Hbf" in the "to" field.

If you arrive in Köln/Bonn Airport, you have to go by train. There is no direct train to Duisburg so you have first to catch S-Bahn (look for a green circle with a capital S in the centre) to Köln Bf Deutz / Messe stop and then to take RE Bahn in direction Emmerich Bf or Wesel Bf.

The travel from Köln/Bonn Airport lasts about 1 hour.

To help along once in Duisburg, here is a map of their Transportation System:
