From: Nürnberg Airport
To: Vilseck

Essentially you take the U2 underground train to the main train station in Nuremberg and then catch a regional train to Weiden (Oberpfalz) or Neustadt (Naab). Travelling time is about 1 hour. You should be able to buy your ticket to Vilseck either at the airport or at the main train station in Nuremberg. People there speak English, just bring about 30 EUR in cash to pay for ticket and some other things you might need.

When you get to NurnBerg you need to find the railway system, it goes right to Vilseck, once you get there, ask for a Taxi usually there are a few ones around and if not then the rail road Master speaks english , I know cause I am stationed around there, the base is only 4 to five minutes from the train station. Very simple. A train station is called Bahn Hof so just tell the taxi at the Nurnberg airport, NurnBerg
Bahnhof Bita, translated means Nurnberg Trainstation please. Oh and bring lots of Euro, nothing is cheap in Europe at all.

You will have to buy a ticket (at the Deutsche Bahn ticket machine right outside the airport), which will be good for the entire trip to Vilseck. Then you'll head down to the subway (U2) to the main train station in Nuernberg. From there, you'll board a train directly to Vilseck.

So, you'll have to change trains once, and it'll take an hour to get there total.

Here's how to get the complete information: http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml

As for station names, you'll enter "Nuremberg airport" and "Vilseck". Good to go!
