Store your bags in a locker in the train station. Then take the U-bahn toward the city center. Willy Brandt Platz is probably as good of a place as any to start from. Just walk around the nearby pedestrian areas. You'll find things to see. Goethe had a house around there that's a museum now, I believe.

Go down to the Main and walk along the river. Depending on the time of year, this is very pretty too. You might want to walk out on one of the bridges. Some of them offer nice views of the city. There are museums across the river, mostly art, but other things too. There should be advertisements for special exhibits.

The renovation on the cathedral should be concluding, so you might want to see that or maybe take a short cruise on the river. Not too expensive. Weather permitting.

Definitely have a couple meals. The food is very good. There's a restaurant just off one of the pedestrian areas that makes excellent Tafelspitz. I wish I could remember its name!

Be sure to see the opera house there! Just in case you are unfortunate enough not to like German cuisine, there is a Pizza Hut right there.

If you are not terribly impressed by the city, Mainz is short train ride away. It's a bit more picturesque. Also, Heidelberg isn't faraway either.

Have fun!

The train system from the Airport to the center of Frankfurt is pretty good. You won't have any trouble getting from the airport to the city and back. The old part of Frankfurt is very beautiful and will give you a good taste for the city.

Line all 12 of them up against a wall and pick them off, one by one.
