There are numerous memorials, there are numerous museums, the foremer concentration camps are all memorials and are open to the public free of cost so everyone can come and see what happened. There are extensive educational projects going on, and the people who resisted are known by pretty much everyone (Weiße Rose, for instance). There are streets named for them and so on.
There are the "Stolpersteine", as someone else pointed out, a great project that lets in bronzed cobble stones in front of houses with the names and dates of Jewish people who lived there and where killed or "lost" in a concentration camp.

Millions in reparations have been paid, and Israel itself says that Germany nowadays is one of it's closest allies and friends.

From my understanding, the Holocaust is viewed in Germany in a similar way to how Americans view slavery: it's something they're not proud of, but it's in the past, and they've learned from it and a lot of social justice issues have been solved since that time. Obviously, most Germans don't hate Jewish people today, the same way most Americans don't have a problem with African Americans. It's handled in schools in pretty much the same way.
