You might want to consider consulting the German Wikipedia on that:

The "Deutsche Märchenstraße" (the fairy tale road) is not one single tourist attraction, but is actually a road, or several roads, that lead through German towns and places of interest. Like near my home in Bavaria, we have the Bayerisch-Böhmische Glasstraße, a series of roads that lead from almost Austria to some places in what is nowadays the Czech Republic, and it doesn't mean the roads are made of glass, but there was glass manufacturing industry here. You can even visit an ancient silver mine, as silver was used to produce some special, extra-durable glass. If you really want to travel one such road in its full length, plan in some 14 days at least, and rent a car.
The Dornröschen castle is here, according to Wikipedia:

Shouldn't be far from Spangdahlem, as Hesse is not a very big state.
And I really don't know about a Rapunzel castle in Germany; please excuse my lack of knowledge. |
