How far it is from Munich to Garmisch?

I drove from Munich to Garmisch this morning to go snowboarding and it took me about an hour and a half....even though I went about 190-210 km/h on the Autobahn....so I wasn't driving slow....

Driving on the Autobahn is no problem. Not too much traffic and no speed limit, so that's a quick and easy drive.

But as soon as you get off the Autobahn there will most likely be pretty bad traffic. During skiing season there is always very heavy traffic in that area, so that's why the drive might take longer than it should...

The same goes for coming back from Garmisch...no trouble on the Autobahn at all, but longer waiting times at the red light at the end of the Autobahn in Munich, especially if you plan to take a left...lol....
