That totally depends on where you are in Germany. In the big cities there's a lot going on. Berlin for example is crazy at night. Munich is a bit mellower, but also a lot of fun if you know where to go to. Clubs tend to be quite expensive... and of course the alcohol-regulations are a lot more relaxed than in the US:

If you tell me where you are going and what kind of night life you like (clubs, pubs, concerts, restaurants) I can look something up for you.

Splendid nightlife.Bars,pubs,dancefloors ,Clubs u name it!Enjoy!!

The night life here in Germany is awesome. Well I like it anyways, I never actually "experienced" the night life back in the states legally, because I was still under 21 at the time. But when my husband got stationed here, we started going out and it's fantastic, though it can get a bit pricey because euros are much more that US dollars. We always bar/club hop. You should find out when they have euro shot nights, and happy hours that way you can get drinks not too pricey.

ARRGH!!!
It's damn good!!! Where are you going? Berlin is very famous for the bars and pubs, Hamburg, of course, has the Reeperbahn, the red light district with discos, clubs, pubs, bars etc etc... Have fun!!
