If you are not looking for a job as a civilian inside an Army base, and if you don't speak German, it will be very tough. That is, in case you are not an Icon in your field of work, but since you asked for normal, every day, I think it will be very tough, if not nearly impossible if you don't speak German. |

If you don't have a work permit it could be hard. Also, Germany has relatively high unemployment. |

Depends on the job and where in germany you are looking at trying to work. My wife works with the hotel business and is originally from Berlin. She has some friends and hook ups there but she still couldnt get a job there. Actually i hear it is almost impossible to get a job in Berlin! She tried and no one wanted her she came down to the south were i was living at and all the employers where calling from small towns to cities like stuttgart, frankfurt and munich. Southern Germany is growing FAST economically and demographically so your more likely to find something there especially stuttgart and frankfurt. |

Edit: It has been a couple years and I am rusty, to say the least. Are you thumbing because of my grammar, spelling, or do you honestly think that is either an impolite question or does not need to be known to answer this question? Please let me know if you add your thumb. |
