if you have a place to stay already you can get by on 20 euros if you´re alright with McD´s and a student hang out for drinks but if you want real dinner and money to make sure you can do whatever you please you should take at least 50, if possible 100 (just in case, doesn´t mean you have to spend it, huh? lol)
Stuttgart is fun - enjoy!

Lizzy
depends on the restaurant, why not taking your card with you, crime rate is not too high

clambacke
Same like in a major city in the USA, depends what quality of Entertainment you are loking for, between $20 - $2000

bozenmoon
Depends what are you up to.Dinner ,drinks approx.100 EU.
If you are into nightlife ( Saturday ),well, all you want to spend,
there is no limit, but additional 150 EU will get you started.
Have fun and enjoy Stuttgart.
Lived there for almost 3 years.

Depending on the restaurant plan 30+ euro for dinner/dessert and a couple drinks. The restaurant will have a menu w/prices posted outside so you can look at that before going in.

Just only for a weekend for few drinks and dinner I think 40 Euro will be enough. Don't go shopping than you need more money. Have fun.
