I would not recommend getting a tattoo in Germany.
They are way more pricey there than in the States. I got one in the US and one in Germany... I am waiting to go to Cali to get my next one... at the High Voltage in LA. |

I'm not a big tatoo fan, so regardless of whether in the U.S. or Germany, I would say they charge too much. If you are intent on getting one, however, I would recommend Deutschland. Everything is regulated and must be clean. After all, Ordnung muß sein! |

I got all my tattoos in Berlin and the guy charges € 80 per hour which is about normal... No matter if black/white or colour.
Sorry I can't help you with tattoo shops in Cologne. |

Why do you want to have it done in Germany? I know a couple of good tattoo shops in Amsterdam, Netherlands. That's not far from Köln and Düsseldorf, and you can get there easily by train (Deutsche Bahn or Nederlandse Spoorwegen). |

I got two tattoos and mine were 120 Euros each. Usually you pay between 100 and 150 for a regular sized one. It really depends where you go and how big you want it ... but I rather pay some and go to an experienced shop. |
