How much snow does Kaiserslautern, Germany get on average?

I cannot seem to get any relevant information on this on the web. No one source states it exactly. So if anyone knows, your words are so welcome. Thank you.

Maybe the German meteorological institute can help you.
If you don't find the info you need directly on their site just mail them I am quite sure they can tell.
Btw site is available in English

well it is not often. depends on the winter. that one was horrible I heard. Snow everywhere and this for weeks. normaly they just got it for two or three weeks in the whole winter.

Wolf has given the only correct answer the link is good I bet they can give the answer to the question there if they don't have a statistic on the site.

Apparently nobody except Wolfi can read a question properly.
The question was about the average snow and not where to ski or what the weather is right now.

The last 2 winters have been pretty light down around K-town. The most we've had at 1 time was 2" and it didn't last on the ground long... maybe a week. The hills around Kaiserslautern get more, but K-town isn't bad. Rain, fog & black ice are more of a worry than snow.

My boyfriend lived there for ten years.. I should ask him..

You are lucky to have a week or two of snow, not much at all. But there are some ski areas near by. The 'Vogesen' in France is maybe two hours away and is snowed in the whole winter...

but it is still enough snow for the troll here...
