it depends, on many things like 1st klass or 2nd klass seats, how many passengers, if you are a teen or business etc...

the 1st link by source is a good, but it's only in german.
the 2nd link and 3rd link are in english.

BULL BULL BULL!!!!

The trip is less than 20 minutes. Buy a cheap ticket from a machine or ask any soldier for the cheapest way. The last time i did is it was less than $10.

Yup, I´m all with Tod - Ramstein is sort of on the outskirts of Kaiserslautern. If you´re on base there will be a shuttle-bus going to Vogelweh Shopping Center which is closer to downtown and you can take a local bus from there. You can also ask a cab driver how much he´d want for the trip and decide if that´s what you want!
Public transportation in Germany is generally very punctual and reliable, covering city and country alike, so you´ll find a way and it does not have to be a train!
Hope you enjoy your stay!

There are cheap tickets for 29 € but you must be lucky to get one. Normal tickets will cost between 70 and 200€ depends on First or Second class... There´s one other possibility, as you can take a "Schönes Wochenende"-Ticket for 30€. There will be no direct connection, and you have to use local trains, changing on many stations, but it´s cheap and you don´t need luck to get one.
