How much will it cost to go to Germany? |
I've checked many booking sites, but the people I've talked to claim the prices on there are too expensive. How much, typically, would a trip from the U.S. to Germany cost? I'm talking about a one-trip expense, not a round-trip. Additional Details I'm staying with someone who will provide whatever I need at no cost. I'm just asking for a one trip ticket, not anything else, mind you. |

go to www.travelocity.com they normally have the best offers there you must think for a one way trip between 350 and 500 $ it deepens on the time were you wanna go,if its vacation time you have to pay the higher price
are you just wanna know the price for the fly or for something else too,but i guess if you just look for a one way trip you just look for the fly
ok then its between $350 & $600 like i said before, the best deals i got from www.travelocity.com and never flew in the big vacation time, then the prices get up very high and book early,so you really can make great deals ,where to germany you wanna go and which month,so maybe i can find you some good deals |

one trip expense over $600. What about Hotel.... spending some money in Germany, shopping, eating all that.
So you need round trip plus all that for 2 weeks more than $2000. |

Flights:
Generally, one-way tickets are more expensive than return tickets. Unless you find a special offer, you are better off buying return tickets.
Cost of return flights from the US to Germany:
From Boston/NYC around 600 USD, from Miami around 700 USD, from LA or SF around 1000 USD, from the Midwest around 1100 USD.
I recommend that you check out LTU, they have some great offers. I think they also sell reasonably priced one-way tickets. http://www.ltu.com
General cost of staying/travelling in Germany:
It is possible to travel in Europe on 50 USD per day and person, but the general recommendation is to take a minimum budget of 70 USD per day and person.
The German government uses a figure of 45 EUR per day and person to determine whether a tourist has enough funds to support hirself, and they are right. 45 EUR per day and person is the minimum you should have unless you plan on sleeping under bridges or going hungry. THis amount of money will pay for a cheap hostel bed, food from the supermarket and for some transport or entry to sights.
Hope I helped a bit. |
