Well, you just look for flights from Seattle to Frankfurt which is not too far from Uffenheim. Or check them out in a travel agent. You are probably cheaper off, doing a stop-over in the US. From Frankfurt you can just hop on a train...

I got flights for $400.00 in December, I am flying in June for $1,400.00. It always depends on the time of the year.
I think the best airline to check from Seattle is KLM/Northwest. Fly via Amsterdam.

You can get nonstop flights to Frankfurt from Portland.
Sometimes they have some good last minute deals. Check Lufthansa.
