Does anyone know where I can purchase replacement "euro" plugs? My local electronics store recently discontinued them and nobody else in town seems to sell them. Of course, any source will ...
fourth choice, not because I liked it least but I don't know much about it and I was more interested in a couple other languages. Anyways, just in case I get my fourth choice, could you tell me ...
I am going to stay in Germany for some months and i wouldnt like to spend a fortune on hotels till i find a bedroom in shared flat (cheapest accommodation that is)
If you can't get into Germany - why not fly into Paris or Amsterdam and take a train to the match or matches that you want to see? Just a suggestion! You might be able to find a reasonable fare into Paris. You could also try doing an open jaw - flying into one city (say Paris) and out of another (say Amsterdam). If you go this route, look for rail fares at http://www.raileurope.com/us/index.htm
For air tickets you might want to try http://www.eeitravel.com/site/index.asp
You can call one of their helpful agents and they will do their best to find air for you. You might have to combine it with a rail ticket and a hotel ... but might be your best value. Ask them what their minimum requirements are to book air. I've used them many times and they're good!
For actual tickets to the matches go to http://www.raileurope.com/us/index.htm
Paris - Munich takes about 10 hours so a night train might be best. Amsterdam - Munich only takes 8.....
Good luck!
