"alles gute zum geburtstag" or "alles liebe zum geburtstag" or " herzlichen glückwunsch", you can be sure that it is correct because i´m from germany

"alles Gute zum Geburtstag" is correct.

Also: "herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag" (the "u" in Glück has two dots on it, so not all keyboards will show it)

"glucklicher Geburtstag" is not correct

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag is correct. If it's a close friend or family member you could also say/write Alles Liebe zum Geburtstag. Herzlichen Glückwünsch is also okay.

Sandy B
alles Gute zum Geburtstag

"Alles gute zum Geburtstag", but "Happy Birthday" is equally understood.

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag. Are you stationed there or do you just have a friend there? I was stationed in Baumholder, FRG and Heidelburg, FRG. Good luck with the birthday card.
