I was just back from Frankfurt.

1/ museums
What impressed me most is the Musum for Modern Art. The exhibitions there are classic yet still with a sense of himourlity that all would enjoy.

Then you may drop by the gallery just next store showing AR Pench right now.

2/ Walk along the river
don't miss the chance to walk along the rive where you can see mingling of tourists and local people, swans , etc,.
Actually I jogged last ime on both banks. It was so enjoyable

3/ meal at local Keller
Just off the road of the plaze Frankfurt am Main, there are a few off beat local bars who offer local food and beers/ wines.

4/ Kassel
Kassel is a small town just 2-3 hours away. The once-every -five-year documenta art exhibition is beingheld ther until Sept. If you have time, I highly recommend you to go there. It is a quiet town. Beautiful river, good food and of course, good things/ artworks to see. The fort there is beautiful too. If you are interested in food, there is a Michelin restaurant near to the fort. The food there is wonderful and good value.

5/ Munster
If you really have the time, Munster held the sculputure show which is one of the art highlights this year. It is a few hours from Kassel. If your time is tight, just forget it.

with you enjoy the trip

Frankfurt is one of the most booring cities in Europe.
But, why dont you take a train ride to one of the nicer places? From Frankfurt airport you can catch an early morning high speed train and reach Munich, Hamburg or Amsterdam within 4 hrs. Use those 4 hrs on the train to sleep and save energy for the siteseeing during the day and then take a late night high speed train back to Frankfurt. If you can afford it then fly, Flying tiome to a.m. cities is 1 hour each.

Try the Kaiser Strasse(the 'Red Light' district of Frankfurt), The Zeil(Main walking plaza of down town Frankfurt), and the nearby Römer Plaza.
The Amsterdam Sauna and Tavern is also a nice place to relax.
Have A Nice Break!

Go to the disco called "The Living" -- it's pricey but judas priest the women are hot in there.

In case you plan on staying in Frankurt here's the link so you can find out for yourself:
http://www.frankfurt.de/sixcms/detail.ph...
Some things in Frankfurt are:
- Zoo
- Palmgarden (The fascinating variety of the plant world is presented by the Palm Garden in thematic gardens and greenhouses. Visitors can get to know the typical botany of all continents.)
- Boat Tours
- The Airport
- Museum Riverbank (On both sides of the Main bank, art lovers will find numerous renowned museums. The range of topics extends from architecture and film to painting.)

Hope this helps a little:)
