There is tons of stuff to do, and if you speak German it's going to be an even better experience.
The weather should be great, so you can mingle with the locals at the numerous Biergartens, pubs, and clubs, restaurants will have seating outside with candlelight and serve food till way after midnight. (for example: Prenzlauer Berg district) Pick up a Lonely Planet Berlin for starters on these and addresses) There are also tons of movie theaters in English and German (especially in the district Mitte/and Potsdamer Platz). In the summer, there is also Open Air Theater and Movies in a great atmosphere. You can tour the surrounding lakes and canals on boat -always a nice thing for the summer, or even rent your own boat (you do not need a license for a small motorboat). Go for a biking trip just outside of the main city with some newfound friends! Have fun!!!!!!! |
