A subway map is available here http://www.hvv.de/pdf/schnellbahn-regio-plan.pdf as a .pdf file!
For a map of the city, I would recommend also looking for a Hamburg travel guide on Amazon, maybe a condensed version from Lonely Planet or Let's Go.
