I am looking for an internship placement in Germany as i will be graduating as a medical doctor late June?

Have been studying in nizhny Novgorod state medical academy and would like to do my internship in germany in an authorised hospital, i don't have a good commant of the german language. After the end of my internship i would like to live and work there too. I am a Tanzanian citizen, of african race.

The hospital should not be a problem, most are authorized for "Weiterbildung" credits/"residency".
You would be looking for an "Assistenzarztstelle".

However, you need to obtain a German physician license.
The Licensure is handled from State to State, you can check out some websites:
This one is an example from the state Baden-Wuerttemberg: http://www.rp.baden-wuerttemberg.de/servlet/PB/menu/1056282/index.html
You can find other state's websites on the internet.
This one lists phone numbers and addresses for all of them:
http://www.medizin.fu-berlin.de/StudentenCafe/hinweise/LPA.htm
And this is from the "Bundesaerztekammer" itself.
"Information for foreign doctors who want to work in Germany":
http://www.bundesaerztekammer.de/page.asp?his=1.109.111&all=true

However, you need (very) good command of the German language to practice as a doctor in Germany, that is for sure. Maybe you can check out the country on a vacation/and take a language course to brush up on it, if you haven't been speaking German for a while?

If your command of the German language is not good enough to navigate these websites, it will be very hard!
Should that be the case, think of an English speaking country to practice...as your English seems to be good.

I can recommend the following forum, this is from the German "Aerzteblatt" a magazine from the organization pretty much every physician in Germany is a member of, and receives this magazine (although this is the internet version) and on this forum you can ask questions, see the different categories for which your questions are the most appropriate. A lot of people there are very helpful. It's all in German.

Maybe contact some Doctor association / hospital association in Germany. Your University might be able to give you some tips and hints.
If you do not speak the German language it will be very tough for you to find an internship.

vivi
You can search a job at these two european sites and/or going to the closest german embassy. Normally,if you get a job in Europe, you can get free lessons.
At Eures site, you can get info about the country, learning the language, etc.
Good Luck on that!!
