I have a 68 Vintage car. It is going to Germany.
What documents does the car need to enter the country?
It does not have a title. It only has the DMV registration papers.

Did you check all that out with the German buyer? I think he could arrange a lot from over here, and I'm sure he's quite aware of all the requirements to get the car licensed in Germany. It really doesn't matter which kind of foreign license or papers the car has; the only thing that's vital is a certificate of ownership, as otherwise, the vehicle won't pass EU customs. I think you should be doing fine with the papers you have, and the rest is not really up to you. Vintage cars usually cause less trouble than new cars, as car collectors must have a special allowance in Germany. Believe me, that's true; there are even special license plates they have. And in order to use them, you mustn't have ANY criminal record whatsoever.

You really need to check this out. American cars need mods to be be acceptable in Europe. The headlights need to be changed to meet their requirements. It is a several hundred dollar change.

Also, you gota get a proper title. Have you been paying taxes on it? Hope so!

You need to contact the companies transporting cars overseas. They tell you what you need.
