I have a German passport but was not born there, Would my panter be able be able to live in Germany?

I Live in New Zealand, my mom is german so i have a German passport, when i marry would I be able to move to Germany with my partner? would they let him live there?

Yes he can stay with you in Germany the exact visa and paperwork depend on his nationality.If he is New Zealand citizen it will not be very complicated due to an arrangement between Germany and New Zealand.

EDIT: to be a german citizen has nothing to do with being born there but to have either a German father or mother.
Unlike USA Germany has citizenship right not by place of birth but by 'Jus Sanguinis' (by having German blood).

Are you sure that your mum is German or was it the German shepperd of your family ? Yes unfortunately they would let him in as well. Another sensless eater on the table. At least that is what my idol said about guys like that

If your soon-to-be husand is from New Zealand, then he can just enter with you and file all required paperwork once in Germany.
